Your Privacy - The Department of Health and Human Services released a guidance on July 6, 2001 that provides additional explantation concerning the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule that was published on December 28, 2000. The American Dental Association has prepared a summary of HIPAA privacy rule clarifications. You may download the memo from Dr. James B.
